okay, this is going to be a long one. first, prompt by @KyroneART and second, i am leaving nightcafe indefinitely. it's something i've been planning to do for a long time. for anyone who doesn't know (though i think pretty much everyone knows this by now), ai art generators sample art from all over the internet without the original artist's consent or even knowledge. this is a major copyright problem. though it may not sound like it, i love ai art! it's so much fun and an excellent way for people who aren't good at art or don't have the time to devote hundreds of hours to practising and perfecting art to still make beautiful pieces. so i am only leaving until nightcafe starts making their ai more ethical by letting artists opt-out and not have their art used to train ai. even so, i'm not really leaving, i'll still chat and be active but i will post my own art until nightcafe changes. i've maxed out the text limit here so rest is in the comments 😅
A stunning image of a snow-covered forest and creek under a sky full of bright, shining stars. The artwork features reflections, volumetric lighting and beautiful textures in an anime art style.

i have no idea if it is going to ever change Null, but hey your art is great, and i have never used an artist unless it was part of a preset modifier and i did not know, so hey, i wish you well!
Oh, I totally understand your reasoning! As long as we still get to chat and have fun with art, you do you! :D
hey, i love your creations! So, here's the deal: it's not really copyright infringement... because, if you think about it, the AI is just like a human.... during its training phase, it just "looked" at images to learn what things look like, just like how a typical human painter would look at thousands of images to learn... the AI doesnt copy-paste the images it was trained on. Stability AI and the others that trained SD just "showed" the AI millions of images so it could learn. the images are publicly available on the internet, so people can see them... if the owners of the images don't want anyone to see them, they should hide them. that's what happened, the AI, like humans, saw the images and got trained. i hope that clarifies things a bit. :)
thank you for all of the support and i know it's unlikely but maybe this will make nightcafe shift towards being more ethical and in less of a legal grey area! it means the world to me 💜
