Harriet and Padfoot

This is an idea that came to me just a few minutes ago, and I didn't know how much I needed to see it until I did.

As many of you have noticed by now, I have done a LOT of art pieces that have featured Newfoundland's in them. This is because ... I seem to find comfort in doing so. And because I have a lot of admiration for the breed itself due to it's history in high-risk water rescues in the Labrador Sea where it can get extremely cold extremely quickly during the autumn and winter months. For this breed of dog to handle that while saving us humans from drowning is extraordinary.

That being said, I decided to give a Newfoundland to Harriet because of after everything that canon-Harry had endured in the series, I think that they would need a non-human companion to help through the trauma. Also, a hobby that can be relaxing and rewarding as well. So, this idea came into fruition.
