ExoTech Industries Polaris

After the success of the Arcturus, ExoTech decided to make more mecha with its design ethos. The ETI Polaris is the result. It uses a pair of lux axes as its main weapons; the tomahawks are weighted for either close-range battle or for use as throwing weapons, and the heavy blunt force makes the phased array laser axe blade capable of easily cleaving through cars, many buildings, and enemy mecha.

The Polaris also has electric reactive armor and a back-mounted 35mm railgun. When the armor is active, it can ram into enemies to electrocute them. Its footsteps can send electric shockwaves along the ground. The Polaris often kneels to use its railgun to brace itself against the recoil, but some Polaris pilots fire it when standing to assist with evasive maneuvers. The railgun puts out a great deal of waste heat, and so can only fire once every 60 seconds. This delay lets the devastating weapon cool down and recharge its compulsator banks.
