Sir John Dhories' Castle was reachable by taking a long road winding through the woods, a very pleasant walk even for young c0upl3s, if you know what I mean.
Then, all of a sudden, you would come out of the thicket and find yourself on a cobblestone walkway leading to a beautiful stone bridge. And up there, towering high, was Sir John Dhories' Castle overlooking the valley.
Getting up there required two strong legs and a lot of breath, but it was worth it.
