Moortje my much loved, beautiful little friend

I discovered Moortje as a kitten during the frigid winter of 2008. He crossed the street in front of my car, out in the middle of nowhere. I stopped and saw this small black cat crouching in the snow, looking up at me with his large golden eyes. I knew I couldn't leave him there; he wouldn't have survived the night. He became my beloved little big friend.
Sadly, my very special friend passed away early in the morning on June 10th, just shy of 16 years old. He will be deeply missed.
