In this support room defining popular terminology I give open feedback. Which I haven't in my parallel "Beefcake Cyberpunk" twist on the DC:
Even though we did much better here.
The winner David Resnick demonstrates that you don't necessarily need references to Chinatown and building decay - though his eerie room is full of technology, but not scifi walls - when the caption and the protagonist are this intensely ethically corrupt, lol. That's what it takes to win - if cyberpunk fans vote.
In the DC most aren't. The Top 20 feature 1 clear visual reference, 3 slight ones, 1 in caption & no ethical decay at all. The winner's caption is wrong.
Next:
This is clearly unsettling, with future technology in a bleak future of low ethics. That's cyberpunk!
