I made my start image with Google Imagen 3.0 Fast and the prompt, "Math equation: horse 🐴 + ➕ An ear of corn 🌽 = 🟰 a unicorn 🦄"
Here is my start image:
I then inpainted that image with the prompt, "black" to get rid of one of the lines in the first equals sign.
