I tried this prompt with GPT40 on Bing and nano Banana 2 on Gemini : "a contemporary arctic explorer, the fur lined hood of his military parka pulled tight around his bearded features. Goggles protect his eyes. Holding a flamethrower, bottles of gas on his back, the flamethrower is off, the man sitting stoically on a crate, in the snow-covered desolation of the Antarctic night. He is illuminated by the flames of the burning pre-fab buildings surrounding him".
If you add The Thing movie we get blocked. Here are the results and you get a decent flamethrower (specify flamethrower off on GPT) :
