A year or so ago, I read how many kiddos still walk to school in Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.  It's not uncommon for kids to walk a long way, to get to school and home, each day.  This creation was inspired by those brave kids, who walk mountain trails to school, sometimes accompanied by their pack mule, who carries their school supplies and meals etc.  Their village lies in the background.   God Bless those children, animals, and families!
