Part 3: The Pause
Under a broad oak, we sat with our feet pressed to the earth. Onee-chan wove flowers into a crown and placed it gently on my head. Her eyes held a quiet warmth.
“Even when everything feels heavy,” she whispered, “these simple moments remind us of what truly matters. Being here, together.”
I reached out, squeezing her hand softly. “I don’t ever want to forget this~ us, like this. Your calm makes me brave, and your love keeps me grounded.”
The scent of wildflowers wrapped around us, and with her hand resting softly on mine, I felt a calmness that no words could capture.
