The model that put Musashi on the map, the Fujin brings to the table a well-balanced fighting style, with a surprising amount of armor. The company, named for the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, was originally founded as the robotics spinoff of a major Japanese car company before being bought out by its own CEO, who was from a very rich family and had a taste for mech anime. Most people believed that mecha would never be practically usable on a real battlefield, but the executive's passion project bore fruit due to his great surplus of disposable income.
The Fujin is a close-range fighter that uses a combination of neural uplinks and motion controls to give its pilot unparalleled swordsmanship skill. Motion capture footage from a martial arts master was used to create 20 preloaded kata that can be activated at will. The mech also has a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun sidearm, which rarely seems to see any use.
