Vikings didn't wear horned helmets, and sadly they lost at Stamford Bridge. Nice idea, not mythology though. Alternative reality, perhaps? 😉 A Europe where the Normans (descendants of Vikings themselves) hadn't ended up dominating Western Europe might have been interesting but of course in sheer numbers, the Norwegians and Danes would never have been able to control the continent, even had they held onto the whole of the British Isles.
