Venada Marseille and the Garden of Smoke and Delights

Year 3425 in the Cosmopolitan Cosmos. The Parisian Empire has stretched its impeccably tailored glove with an iron fist across the galaxies under the illustrious Empress Ilyophra Munien.

On the planet Manx Naurë Ontári in the Eye of Sauron Galaxy, in orbit of the star Gorgorothúr, Venada Marseille has been charged with subduing the far flung planet for inclusion in the empire.

The populace has proven unyielding to various forms of persuasion, and has a fair right to be, as they have established a world in one of the most distant reaches of the known cosmos. Even at FTL, a flight here takes months.

Venada was chosen for her ruthless ingenuity, not having much in the way of backup on this mission, so she utilized the planets own atmosphere to do the "dirty work" for her. Detonating a heavy metals particulate bomb in atmosphere over population centers, deadly smoke crept through the streets. Venada had the means to clear the atmosphere, when and if the populace agreed to "membership."
