Threadwalkers serve as wanderers and seekers, embodying the hunger of forgotten puppets to find a “stage.” They often stalk travelers, attaching invisible threads to their shadows. Victims ensnared this way experience strange fatigue, as though their very will is being tugged by invisible hands. Villages plagued by Threadwalkers tell stories of loved ones slowly growing expressionless, their voices flat, until one day they vanish entirely—leaving behind only a wooden doll in their bed.
