The Halfling Bard

Born in the quiet, rolling hills of the Sun-Dappled Vale, Pip was expected to inherit the family bakery. But while his cousins were measuring flour, Pip was measuring the distance to the horizon. Every evening, he sat on the highest ridge, playing his guitar for the setting sun, convinced the wind was humming melodies he hadn't learned yet. The day a traveling circus passed through, Pip realised the Vale wasn't his sanctuary, it was a beautiful, static painting he was trapped inside. He packed his instrument, took a final loaf of honey-bread, and walked toward the mountains without looking back. He doesn't seek gold or glory; he travels to collect the "missing notes" of the world, believing that once he hears every song in existence, he’ll finally understand the rhythm of his own heart.
