Pfluger made short work of felling the trees that surrounded the village with the tractor. The villagers followed behind and taking axes, chopped up the logs. Once the villagers had cleared away the fallen wood, Bjornson hooked a chain onto a stump situated on a small hill. He gave a thumbs up.
“Okay, pull!” Bjornson cried into his comms. Pfluger gunned the engine and after a few minutes of pulling, the stump came free followed by a few bricks caught in the roots.
“That’s odd,” Bjornson thought. He called Colonel Larkin and Commander McClendon over to the hill. The two men inspected Bjornson’s find.
“Looks like a wall,” Larkin said.

“Perhaps an old wall,” McClendon speculated as he furrowed his brow. He thought for a Moment. “Eule, get some of the villagers over here with shovels! Let’s see if we can dig Bjornson's find out!” A group began to dig at the oblong hill. Thirty minutes later they began to see what the hill hid.
What they found was a stone platform about a meter tall with stone steps leading up to it. It was ten meters long by two meters wide, There was a crevice of earth about seven meters long by a half meter at the top of the platform.
Larkin let out a low whistle. That looks like a Stargate platform,” he said.
