Suze: "I've got Sabine West of Speed West Racing for a quick chat. Sabine, we notice that the paddock has fallen a bit silent for the past few days with not many teams putting in any laps. Can you give us a little insight into what goes on during this period?"

Sabine: "Sure, Suze. Right now, most teams have done their testing of their cars, the components, and the tire compounds under different simulated scenarios, and they're taking this time to check the cars and return everything as close to "mint condition," so to speak, as they can on the cars. Checking the electronics is a big thing, and making sure everything is set with the specs we decided on after testing."

Suze: "And the drivers?"

Sabine: "We've been doing our fitness work, but also doing a little relaxing and recharging."

Suze: "So is the Speed West team ready for race weekend?"

Sabine: "Yes, and--crew and drivers, all of us--we cannot wait!"
