@gabrielaries , I had seen his work but didn't know Bali was in Malaysia! (He just told me it is, in fact, in Indonesia) However, I must congratulate him on producing both a more natural looking South East Asian, and really capturing the skin tone, both of which were something I tried over and over to do. Also, his use of tattoos came across as very natural. I doubt I could pull that off.
Anyway, after hours of tweaking prompts and looking at Malaysians, Sufira was the result, (her name chosen by a team mate.) I'm not unhappy.
I felt the chocolate velvet dress to be about the most late nineties thing I could design. I wonder if velvet clothes will come back?
