You aren't going anywhere! 😅

Well, the Sunday family lunch is sacrosanct for the Ferrari family; Nonna has been simmering her "Sunday Gravy" based on a secret recipe since Wednesday, and missing the family lunch—and Nonna’s cooking—simply because of a little rain is considered both a sin and an act of disrespect toward the family. That "little rain" has already caused tragedies in the city and the surrounding area: the subways aren't running, the Verrazzano Bridge is closed, and even the legendary Staten Island Ferry is out of service. So, Giulia’s only real option for attending the Sunday family lunch would be to swim across the storm-tossed waters separating Brooklyn and Staten Island. And nothing short of physical force could keep her from doing that. So, just for the record: unfortunately, Giulia has fallen victim to physical force; therefore—our apologies, dear Ferrari family—she will not be able to join you today, as an exception. We ask for your kind understanding.
