Really looks like an abstract painting of many places in Canada after the forest fires the last number of years. 🥺 I hope this year isn't similar but considering how dry it's been this year again, it wouldn't be surprising. Back east where you are, is forest fire something you need to be prepared for?

while some 80% of the province is covered in trees we don't have the same fire concerns that the prairies and the west coast does. last year there were a lot of out of control fires here, but that was pretty unusual. we usually experience a few weeks in summer/fall where there are strict fire bans because of potential fires, but even that is moderate compared to what's been going on on the other side of canada.
