The Oggenboggen (Singular: OggenBogger) are a type of House Sprite common in the colder climate of North America. During the winter months after December is when it is most common to spot one of these elusive creatures. They hibernate during the warmer months and remain in hiding almost religiously. But they sense the post Holiday depression of the people in their home, and they also are fond of wrapping paper. It's almost like candy to them. So once christmas is over they scour the house for bits of wrapping paper leftover from Christmas and in return for whatever small bits they find, they commit small helpful acts around the home to bring joy during the long, cold post-holiday months. They also release a hormone that acts like a natural anti-depressant for humans.
