She is a Telsane, a race of Seers (those who can See into people's minds, view surroundings, feel danger, etc). Most Seers are employed by the Prime (King) and/or Regents (Governors) for their talents. Once mated Seers initiate the Claim which binds the two people together enabling them to See and feel each other.
Tamsin calls the Regent of Marendell to her regarding the vision she had of his brother leading an army against him. His brother is in the Rim (open air shielded prison) & it takes a bit for him to believe her. They journey to the Rim with a full group of soldiers. Once the Regent is sucked into the Rim, it's up to her to save him from his insane brother, Oren-Blane, then help him recover before the inevitable war begins.
She's smart, sassy, beautiful and loving, she's no wallflower and doesn't take any crap. A great character & one who will live to tell the tale.
