The first and only movie where I cried my eyes out as a five year old on my dad's lap.  Few years later, and I secretly used our newly installed cable to sneakoly watch The Shining.  It's amazing how quickly we're made jaded against the horrid things.  Though every so often, I'll dream about that poor shot dog, or be taught in that messed up ice labyrinth.  I wonder who'd win: Old Yeller, Cujo, or Jack Nicholson in a fight?  Bet on Jack.  I never would play my cards against the Joker!
