Chiyo & Yulip 9: Farewell Madoke

After two days of travelling Chiyo & Yulip arrive back in Madoke.

Chiyo tells their friends among the Modoken people about their recent adventures. Some of her retelling is humorously embellished, like a mention that the lost tiger cub wore a fedora.

They dine with the Modokens and Yulip is treated to a big raw ox steak. During eating dessert of bowls of fruits with cream Chiyo tells the local folk that she & Yulip are to leave in the morning.

All of their Modoken friends are sad they are leaving but wish them well for the future; and the elderly woman who gave Chiyo her bag even tells her to be sure to visit.

In the morning Chiyo mounts Yulip and the two depart, as people wave their goodbyes, Chiyo smiles softly; although not home for her, she is fond of the place.
