War. Plague. Nuclear fallout. In the vacuum left after the collapse of civilisation, new beliefs sprang up and with them, a new social order.
The Golden Primarch led this new social order, and he preached that the apocalypse had been brought upon them by heretics, blasphemers and apostates, and he prophesied salvation if these transgressors were brought to justice.
He sent forth his Inquisitors to patrol the ruins, and gathered a growing congregation of fearful, shell-shocked followers. From these he demanded utter devotion to the faith, and to himself.

I love his golden throne.
They remind me a bit of the Tusken Raiders from Star Wars. Always interesting with characters like this to imagine what they might look like underneath.
