Where a selfie usually portrays smiling faces and captures a fleeting moment of time to memorialize and share that special event to Social Media and show a positive slice of life. In your image, the effervescence is gone,faces are distressed and traumatized. Huddled together, it is claustrophobic and precariously teeters on the razors perilous edge. What is truly disturbing, is that it is real and is an image that is heartbreaking.
