COLD HARD JUSTICE (+ Polyphonic Prose)

An ancient race suffered deep foul rot. With neighbors, they constantly fought, for what they ought not. Their actions a blot, with fair justice distraught. Then only brought, once heavenly sought. Once caught, their sentence for crimes harshly taught. All then thought they got a just lot. Far to the north, more cold than hot, banished to a barren snow plot. The race perished there, not even an afterthought. There's a reminder, there in the dark, on that tainted spot.
