Guybrush Threepwood - Hero of my childhood

Although Guybrush is a fictional and not a historical person, he still had a big influence on me. At a time when I was being bullied in school and my self-esteem was suffering because of my bad acne, escaping into fantasy worlds helped me. The anti-hero Guybrush was a role model for me: despite poor starting chances, he achieved his goals and always retained his self-critical sense of humor in difficult situations. This is how I soon reacted in reality. With success: I suddenly became popular in the class community and was later even elected student representative with 100 %. But the most important thing: I also met my best childhood friends, including Steve, who is still my best friend to this day. Thanks Guybrush! Thank you, Ron Gilbert! ♥️
