@Handwing @DeathMelonEater I agree with most of your discussion. (I think all of it). I also love all animals and volunteered around several kinds for 8 years. I would love to own a snake, but I can't bring myself to kill the mouse (or rat) before feeding it. I do accept animals killing for food. But my heart aches at the fact that a lion will kill cubs that are not his own. But it is not our place to change how nature works. We just have to find in our own heart how we fit in and what good we can do. Thank you for the wonderful discussion that shares our love for these creatures.
