He looked around frantically and spotted a small cave nearby. He shone his flashlight into the cave and saw a small figure curled up in a corner.
It was Lily! She was shivering and covered in dirt, but she was alive. She looked up and saw her dad's face. She recognized him and smiled weakly.
"Daddy!" she cried out.
"Lily!" he exclaimed.
He rushed to hug her and lifted her up in his arms. He checked her for any injuries and kissed her forehead.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he asked.
"I'm okay, Daddy. I'm sorry I ran away," she said.
"I'm sorry too, Lily. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I love you so much," he said.
"I love you too, Daddy," she said.
They hugged each other tightly and cried tears of joy. They were both relieved and happy to be reunited.
They walked out of the cave and headed back home. They promised to never run away or yell at each other again. They learned their lesson and realized how much they needed each other.
They lived happily ever after.
