It was thought that Foleil had perished at the ultimate batte of the Terror of Belzaor, but she always has an exit strategy.
The Kingdom of Kiervaar lay to the far north, beyond the mountains of Halmantica, a place of myth and legend to the southern realms, for only treacherous and largely unknown mountain passes eventually wound into the Vale of Keir.
It is from this land Foleil had been exiled at birth as it's bastard heir and it was here she returned with an army, forged from her brigands and also from veterans of the Shining Force that she had turned to her service secretly during the campaign against Belzaor.
With the permission and aid of Sedarna Belumous, she brought her force through the harrying journey to reclaim her homeland, which she did. Seated atop the Twilight Throne, infused with it's eldritch power, she rules as the immortal and darkly beautiful empress of Kiervaar, her ruthless cunning as sharp as ever.
