In one of the many oases of a distant vast desert there is a tribe of nomads who move from one oasis to another. Theirs is a matriarchal society, and the Princesses who rule the tribe are more than one -- their distinctive feature, distinguishing them from their subjects, is their use of the color turquoise to decorate their faces and protect their skin from the relentless sun.
They rule with justice and affection, and are revered and loved by all their people.

_Hello everyone, even today -- the day we called ourselves "The Purple People Eaters" -- the challenge exceeded the highest expectations. Many people said not the usual thing of "it was hard to rank," but "we had so much fun watching the entries."
