When this Volkswagen Bug gets hungry, no one is safe!

Created for a challenge. The theme was "evil car or truck," such as might appear in a horror movie. I suddenly remembered something from a film I watched several times as a kid: Herbie Rides Again. At one point, the villain has a nightmare in which some very nasty-looking Volkswagens are hunting him, with their mouths wide open to show their huge fangs; the implication is that they want to have him for dinner.

So I wrote a prompt to create something similar. I specified the style of artist Les Edwards.

P.S. After I published this, something occurred to me. I did some Googling. It turns out that Herbie, the living car in the old movies, was actually a Volkswagen Beetle. I had somehow gotten the impression that one of his movies was titled The Love Bug because "Bug" was the name of his model. In other words, I mentioned the wrong type of Volkswagen in the prompt for this image. But I'm going to stick with it, instead of starting all over.
