Every person and every culture has questions about what is right and wrong. This is how God answered the Israelite's Questions:
- You shall love the Lord your God and serve him only.
- You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
- Keep holy the Sabbath.
- Honor your father and your mother.
- You shall not kill.
- You shall not commit adultery.
- You shall not steal.
- You shall not bear false witness.
- You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
- You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.
The truth is, the list is brilliant. It is pure genius. Whenever you find injustice and misery in this world, you will discover that at least one of the Ten Commandments has been broken. Now, ask yourself: How would the world be different if we just lived by the Ten Commandments?

Theres also the other version where #10 is replaced with "thou shalt not bow down before any graven image" ie no idols
