_Brenda_ typed furiously, chasing down a rogue online bargain. Suddenly, the screen shimmered, reality rippling like a heat haze. Her cursor, a dancing light orange fox, twitched, then… poof! Vanished.

Panic seized Brenda. Had she broken the internet? Then, a tiny, crystalized fox materialized on her desk, tail twitching in confusion.

"Well, this is awkward," Brenda muttered, staring at the bewildered Firefox mascot. "Looks like you need a new browser, little buddy."

The fox, seemingly understanding, shrugged its digital shoulders and trotted off, leaving a trail of glitching paw prints. Brenda, shaking her head, reopened her browser. Maybe some online shopping was safer than interdimensional travel, for now.

There was something suspicious brewing behind the scene. Something that caused all these inter-reality ripples.
