This is a new one on me. Strange how these traditions develop. One April Fool's Day when they were quite young my oldest brother took my other brother's school trousers, while he was in the shower, and pinned them to the ceiling of his bedroom just above the door with dozens of drawing pins. When he came out of the shower and back into the bedroom to get dressed he couldn't find the trousers anywhere. He called for my mum, who came in burst out laughing and then had to regain her composure to tell off my oldest brother for making lots of pin holes in the trousers and the ceiling. They had to remove them very carefully to avoid making it worse! No-one told my dad, and he didn't notice the pinholes until it came round to decorating the bedroom a few years later. I don't actually remember any of this, but I have heard the story dozens of times.
I'm not sure I understand this one. Is it an April Fool's Day thing?
