I keep a tab open at all times on my tablet of Zoom Earth, more a meteorology site showing different aspects of weather around the world. I'm struck by how much greater winds are in the seas and oceans. It leaves me wondering how seamen were able to sail in the past without always knowing what they would face on the open seas. It's a wonder there's not more wrecks on the bottom than there is!
