Meta Surrealism: The Clockworker and His Past

Create a cinematic, hyperrealistic meta-surreal portrait of an elderly clockmaker at his workbench. He holds an open pocket watch close to the camera. Inside its intricate mechanism is a miniature version of his workshop, where his younger self is assembling the very watch he holds. As the younger clockmaker sets one gear in place, a faded memory of his own childhood appears in the older man’s face through subtle double exposure. A tiny hand inside the watch reaches up to turn a gear in the larger workshop, completing the loop. Keep the older clockmaker’s eyes, hands, and watch dominant in the frame. Warm lamplight, exquisite brass detail, a tender sense of time folding back on itself, no text.
