Helena raised her hand. “I've also been asked to visit Maerwynn. She wants to know of Jesus.”
“If there’s time,” Larkin said. Helena nodded.
“Mary and Maerwynn will be stopping in to the church shortly. They always make a visit Tuesday evenings,” said Simon.
“Helena, permission granted to be in the church until you see fit,” Larkin said.
“Thank you, Colonel,” Helena replied.
“Any other questions?” Larkin asked.
“Have you heard from the Fraiser?” Bjornson asked.
“Not yet. They should be arriving tomorrow. Anything else?” The room fell silent.
“Colonel, what are plans for reinforcements should this Goa’uld attack us?” McClendon asked.
“Carter said she would have some SG teams on standby, no clue which ones she’ll send,” Larkin replied.
“We’ll be grateful for what support we can get,” said Helena.
“Oh indeed,” said Bjornson.

“Anything else?” Larkin asked. The room fell silent. “Pending no further questions or comments, evening is free after chow. Taps will be at 21:00. Thank you for attending, Simon,” Larkin said.
“My pleasure, Colonel,” Simon replied. “Ladies, gentlemen.” All stood and bowed. Simon bowed back and then left the refectory.
The two teams picked out MREs and sat down, McClendon pulled Larkin aside.
“Can we trust Simon?” McClendon asked.
“I think we can,” Larkin replied, “SG-1 saved his wife from Sokar's goons. And his daughter did contact Sister Helena for help.”
“Can we trust Helena? She was working for the NID, you know.”
