Dunadoo was a land of cats. For this reason, some cats had to get jobs, there just wasn't any way around it, unfortunately.
Cat burglars were chased by cat police. Then the burglars would chase the police. Then they'd both stop and take naps. Cat masseuse would knead the back of stressed out cat business executives, the claws producing a somewhat painful but not unwelcome feeling. Dunadoo was a land of felines, strutting and slinking and scuttling from all catwalks of life.
The cat miners of Dunadoo weren't known for their work ethic. When a new hole was blasted in the rock, they would all go flying up the tunnels in a mad panic, every time. They'd often hide behind rubble, with a face of extreme concentration, before pouncing on one another, regardless of their daily quotas.
The cat miners of Dunadoo weren't good miners, but they were good cats, doing what cats do best, which isn't mining.
