Shame be on all State and Federal governments that took our lands and properties, in exchange for pushing us to other parts of the country in exchange for treaties that both have broken, now taking away not only our rights; but our heritage, language and history. This Cherokee native will never forgive the Federal and State governments of the merciless treatment of the Trail of Tears, nor the atrocities of ending the lives of our people in cold blood at the behest of US Presidents, and the torture of our children and the unwarranted ending of their lives.
