Happy Independence Day!

On July 4th, 1776, the United States of America became an independent nation. On this significant day, the American people chose to resist tyranny and establish an independent democracy where life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness of each and every individual would be held paramount. They established a government that would indefinitely embrace the ideals of limited government, freedom, liberty, and individual rights. These founding fathers established a government that allowed each and every person to have a voice! They wanted a Constitutional Republic based on the ideal that "...all men are created equal under God" (the Declaration of Independence, 1776). This was a unique form of government not seen before in the history of the world at that time. Even to this day, the United States of America stands out as an exemplar of freedom, human dignity, liberty, hope, morality, equality, and principle.
