Sonia Delaunay
[1885 - 1979] French artist born in Ukraine who co-founded the Orphism art movement, which used strong colors and geometric shapes to create abstract paintings. She also applied her artistic vision to textile, fashion, and set design, creating innovative and colorful patterns and garments.
