Overlaying, in simple words, is like putting a thin sheet of milky glass on top of your picture. 🌫️ It softens what is beneath, yet adds a new texture and tone of its own. This overlay places a fine mesh screen across the entire image, adding a uniform crosshatch texture that subtly filters and unifies all visual elements. 🖼️✨
