Hello my friend, can you hear what I say? Let's play a game, just you and me I'll make you laugh in a fun way...
Let's spread the cards and see what they see Pull any one, this will be key You've drawn it! The magic of the suit bursts free!
The seats are all filled, you're in the front row! I'm juggling glass balls right before you You're enthralled, you're under my show!
The applause and the cheers and hurrahs But you haven't yet come to know That your life is held in my palms!
What comes next, you already know? Ask the mirror, but keep quiet though! Silence - that's the way to go.
A card to remember, the Queen of Hearts. The curtain is dropped as I travel on farther My theater of shadows and fire departs!
I could not resist The passion of the craft To collect your souls Into a trove of art...

This weird ABA CDC rhyme scheme is here on purpose. Its name is terza rima, created by the famous Italian writer Dante Alighieri and later was actively used in Italian traveling theaters.
Italian art through Puaro's.. So beautiful work with amazing story. Love it! π€π€π€

Oh, a very colorful character, he has so much magical powers, power over human life, that's why he has such a confident and a bit arrogant face. But he looks amazing, perfect expression! β€οΈ In this text, a man experiences being in the theater of the world, and Harlequin is the personification of forces over which man has no power. π€π€ Very clever, well written! ππ

Yap, I can't grasp why I really don't like them, but anyway... I'm fascinated of this creation!
Beautifully described with a perfect image! He is really quite a demon and a con man as he lures his audience in to fun and laughter whilst they unaware of his power!! Stunning image!β€β€β€π€π€π€

Best rendition of Arlecchino that Iβve ever seen, and great poem ππβ¦ Arlecchino is one of my favorite maschere, we know him very well in Italy, and heβs basically the representation of Carneval (where lots of children used to dress like him). π₯Ήβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Yaay!! I'm so happy to know I caught your favorite again!πππ₯°π₯°π₯°πβ€π€β€π€ Thank you so much!! He's very popular in post-soviet countries thanks to iconic movie here "Buratino and the Golden Key" (analog of Pinocchio)
Oh, I didnβt know that!! π³ I thought he was popular only in Italy, Iβm glad to learn it isnβt so! I learn new things everyday. π₯°
My Mother dressed me like Arlecchino a few times for Carnival, when I was a toddler π₯Ήβ¦ it used to be pretty common, but I bet that nowadays in Italy people prefer to be dress their children like Avengers characters, and thatβs ok too. πβ€οΈ
Iβve always loved the quirky harlequins, I used to fascinated by German porcelain. My favorite piece was a Meissen Harlequin. Thank you so much for the history lessen as well as the wonderful creation and poem.
It's all my pleasure, JW!! I'm really happy to know I got what you like!!π₯°π₯°πππ I like him too and Pierrot as well β€β€π€π€
Many thanks for the education about Harlequin! The image is a masterpiece, the clothing is just breathtaking! πββ€οΈββ€οΈβπ₯β
It's all my pleasure to share what I know!!ππβ€β¨ Back then I was surprised that when I read about Pierrot as cunning and mischievous and found that that only Jean Baptiste Deburau in 1820s-1840s made him a tragic romantic.
Still thank you so much for your kind words, MG! Means a lot coming from you!πππ₯°β€β€
I can hear you loud and clear as a pristine lake, dear Puaro. Who could not fail to hear the magnificence of your Harlequin tales? The bonus of looking at one of your outstanding images is a pleasure indeed. Kind regards, Sharronπππ

Harlequin, Harlequino is one of the four zanni (masked servants) of the Italian Commedia dell'arte. A cheerful, playful and dynamic young man from the city of Bergamo, who moved to Venice for a better life.
Initially, he was described as a sloppy merry fellow who was fooling around with Pedrolino (a cunning servant pretended to be as innocent as an angel). But the evolution of Pedrolino from Italy to the French Pierrot and the later interpretations that made Pierrot a sad tragic romantic suffering from unrequited love also changed Harlequin, who is now a clever, agile joker who has fun over Pierrot's failures because he takes love from him every time.
