Exactly. I'm actually an amateur astronomer, so it looks a little off to me as well, but it got like 7 likes before I submitted it, so I submitted it. I do like the soft glow of the arms but whether such a structure is physically possible (like a pebble in a pond) I'm not sure. (Just googled and found Hoag's Object whose arms look like one circle).

Also, this is the first time I put any effort into naming my submission. I think that detail helped tremendously

I kind of like that it can’t be mistaken. And the pebble in a pond effect is cool. Suppose a supermassive black hole plowed into a lenticular or elliptical galaxy head on. Not a galaxy, just a supermassive or intermediate mass black hole. Nothing like that has been seen or theorized that I’m aware of, nor is there reason to think it exists. Would it produce a pebble in a pond effect like this? Maybe. That would be cool!

RIGHT! It's often the dreamlike quality of the AI pictures that I am attracted to. Helps one think outside the box.
