The FSS Babylon is a purpose built starfighter carrier. At any given time at least 24 full squadrons of 10 starfighters each are posted to the Babylon as part of her patrols... In war time she can support up to 480 fighters, how ever this increases her need to resupply frequently due to the increased draw on her stores, both weapons and fuel, and most importantly food, as the additional 240 fighters, means at least another 360 mouths to feed in addition to her normal compliment of 500...
