Räken

The outlaw and the princess. No one ever expected them to meet, but as fate would have it, they not only met, but also fell in love. Now, just after Räken had left his thieving ways for Princess Ama and he was convinced everything was perfect, he'd been kidnapped, a move to force Ama's hand and make her country, Marand, pay tribute to the Dark Lord of the South. But Ama wasn't going to bow to anyone, so Räken knew what she would do, and he would do anything to stop her from challenging the Dark Lord, which was surely her move. As Räken studied his chains, he felt his robbing ways come back to him, and began to twist his wrist, biting his lip against the pain as he raced to escape before Ama reached the Dark Lord's fortress and attempted a doomed rescue.
