At the end of the day, we have the best record collections imaginable. We nurtured the Internet from infancy to quincenęra (sp?), made search engines work... for the first 15-to-20 years, anyway... made MMOs and Youtube and Wikipedia and Amazon ubiquitous. Patreon and Self-Publishing and JoCo and The Voice. Broadband was bought and paid for by us grotty nerds playing WoW, The Sims, and Mass Effect, while binge-watching Netflix when it still involved mailing DVDs back and forth. We birth-coached the whole entertaint-ment world into giving us The Police reunion tour, a Blade Runner sequel, Dream Theater, and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Where was Gen-X?
