This is inspired by a description of various government -ism's using cows. I originally saw it in an Ann Landers newspaper column, but she called it an "oldie but a goodie."
There are, of course, various versions out there if you search "you have two cows." But an example is Capitalism: You have two cows. Sell one and buy a bull.
In the version Ann Landers printed, it ended humorously with Surrealism: You have a giraffe. The government makes you take harmonica lessons.
This has become my favorite definition of surrealism.
